Easy Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse Two Ways

IMG_0856.jpg

I can’t believe Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner. I’m so excited for all the decorations and dinner parties. Recently, I was at Gordmans and came away with these cute wooden kitchen supplies. I have always wanted a tray that had a little bowl in it haha! I plan to use it with guac and chips or veggies and dip… but it’s first use had to be something a little less healthy like chocolate mousse haha!

This tray and wooden cutting board are perfect for serving during the holidays. There were so many cute kitchen items at Gordmans and at a such a great price. Little trays like this would make a perfect gift for the holidays.

This tray and wooden cutting board are perfect for serving during the holidays. I love chocolate mousse and love salted caramel so I decided to combine the two. When I think about holiday treats, I always think about peppermint and chocolate, so I like that the salted caramel still feels like a holiday treat but isn’t as common as peppermint. I used the mousse as a dipping sauce, where people can scoop up some mousse on their plate and dip yummy little snacks in it. Also, I used the mousse as a brownie topper. I just pipped on a little bit on top of the brownies. So yummy!
