We all know I love sweets, especially chocolate. These are some of my favorite chocolate chip cookies.  These are the chocolate chip cookies my mom would always make, so needless to say, I have had quite a few of these in my lifetime.

{I put some in a little mason jar to give away to a friend}

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1/2 cup peanut butter (but I always add about two more tablespoons)

1 1/4 cup flour

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 bag of milk chocolate chips

Beat butter and peanut butter with mixer for 30 seconds. Add 1/2 cup flour, the sugar, brown sugar, egg, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla. Beat until combined, then beat in the rest of the flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape in to balls place on un greased cookie sheet and then press down with a fork.

Cook at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
