While at Target the other day I saw these peppermint stir sticks. I love peppermint in my hot cocoa so I had to get them. I thought I could take the yumminess to the next level and douse the peppermint in chocolate.
I used a silicone mold I got from WholePort and simply added some melted chocolate. I let the chocolate sit for about 15 minutes for it to cool down and then stuck the stir sticks in the mold.
I sprinkled some crushed peppermint on the chocolate.
I put them in a little plastic gift bag and tied them to a mason jar filled with hot chocolate mix and some marshmallows. They make the perfect little gift for someone who enjoys a little peppermint and added chocolate in their hot chocolate.
