Morning Berry Orange Smoothie

I love having fresh fruit juice in the morning. I’m not a huge breakfast fan so a smoothie or juice is about all my stomach can handle. Don’t get me wrong, I love breakfast food… I just don’t love eating early in the day. So most of the time I will grab a Naked juice or smoothie and call it good. 

Lately, I have been making a lot of recipes from The Oh She Glows Cookbook. I love so many of her recipes. Although it’s a vegan cookbook-and I’m not vegan… we still eat mostly vegetarian at my house so these recipes are just perfect for us. I wanted to share a morning berry smoothie inspired from her cookbook that was so delicious. And my kids loved it!

M O R N I N G   B E R R Y   O R A N G E    S M O O T H I E

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, washed and hulled
1/2 fresh or frozen banana
3/4 cup fresh orange juice
1/3 cup coconut water
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3-5 ice cubes

Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
