DIY Orange Garland

I love being resourceful with my decorating. There are always ways we can reuse items we already have. And it’s a lot cheaper than buying new decorations each year! I have seen these little dried orange garlands before and think they look so cute! I have made cranberry garlands but decided to try and make orange ones this year.

Simply slice your oranges and put them on a baking sheet. Cook them in the oven on a low temperature about 250 to 300 Degrees. Let them cook for an hour or so and enjoy your house smelling like oranges 🙂 I got impatient and pulled them out a little before an hour. I think this works better because you can thread the oranges while they are still a little soft. Wait for them to cool first because they are piping hot when they come out. After I thread them, I let them sit on the counter for a few days to let them finish drying out.

It’s such a fun and easy way to spruce up your garland and wreaths!
