Do you guys have all your Christmas gifts wrapped already? Ha I don’t even have all mine purchased!

A few Christmas’ ago, my daughter asked why most presents are fancy but their presents come just wrapped in wrapping paper with no bows or notes or anything eek! Mom fail! So over those year I have upped the ante a little and have gotten more creative with wrapping presents and have added bows, ribbon and other fun little touches.

Here are some ideas of homemade wrapping paper for you-if you feel inclined to pretty up your gifts a little. This first one is one I made. I used brown packaging paper to wrap the gifts, then painted chalkboard paint on them. I then embellished them with bakers twine, gift tags, pine sprigs and of course chalk messages.  Happy wrapping!
