Do you guys have all your Christmas gifts wrapped already? I do! We’re celebrating a week early because we’re headed out of town Christmas weekend so that forced me to be ahead of the game this year.
I love being creative with wrapping paper. Normally, I don’t try to be creative with my kids since they could care less what their gifts are wrapped in. Instead I just make sure that they each have their own wrapping paper so that they can easily see which gifts are theirs.
Here are some ideas of homemade wrapping paper for you-if you feel inclined to pretty up your gifts a little. This first one is one I made last year. I used brown packaging paper to wrap the gifts, then painted chalkboard paint on them. I then embellished them with bakers twine, gift tags, pine sprigs and of course chalk messages. Happy wrapping!
