Last week my little girl turned two. For her birthday cake I used this delicious recipe, but instead of making it an ice cream cake, I added in a layer of homemade cream cheese frosting. I used edible gold sprinkles and decorated with some little woodland animals I got at Michael’s then spray painted gold. She loved the blueberries and strawberries in the cake. I have to say it was one of my favorite homemade cakes ever.
