CHALKBOARD PAINTED WRAPPING PAPER

The days are numbered to get my holiday gifts wrapped and delivered. I love taking time to wrap presents with a bit more creativity. I don’t waste my time doing that for the kids because we all know they wouldn’t appreciate it 🙂 This year I used some left over chalkboard paint to personalize my brown paper packages. It’s a super simple way to make a gift even more special.

To make:
1. Wrap your present in brown paper gift wrap
2. Using painter’s tape or stickers, create your designs (I also just painted a few strokes on the package for some of them for more of a raw edge)
3. Paint a thin coat of chalkboard paint (mine was just a craft chalkboard paint)
4. When it dries, write your message or design

Then I added some baker’s twine and used a mini clothes pin to pin on a little pine branch.
