+My husband made the desks using wooden stairs and industrial pipes from the hardware store. He also made the beds using a piece of plywood and framed it out with some common board. The industrial pipes were cut at Home Depot and screwed to the wooden bed frame. The wooden bookcase in between the beds was made to act as a privacy barrier, so that when one kid wants to stay up reading the light doesn’t bother the other. It is also a little book shelf since each kid has their own little cubby.
+The comforters were handmade using fabric from Spoonflower. See the tutorial HERE
+”Be Awesome” and “Be Brave” artwork from Hobby Lobby
+Yellow Batman canvas painting from Meijer
+Batman and Robin paintings (I bought Ikea frames and just free hand painted the batman and robin faces off of ones I had seen online)
+Wall lights, pillows, bookcase, fabric baskets and desk chairs are from Ikea
+Lightning bolt vinyl wall decals are from Walls Need Love– I just measured and marked the wall with a pencil where they should be placed, a bit time consuming but so worth it!
Head to Walls Need Love and use the code Win20 for 20% off one of their design packs-which are already at a great price 😉

I just love this room. It’s so fun and reminds me so much of what my boys love-superheroes. It was a lot of fun working on this room with them and letting them help in the design process. I even let them help paint which was hard work for a perfectionist mom like me 😉
