Pear Arugula Mozzarella Crostini

IMG_7069.jpg

I’m so excited to be heading to Michigan in a few weeks and every time I visit my hometown, I make sure to load up on American Spoon Foods products. All of their products are made from locally grown foods. I had never had the pear preserves before but thought it would be perfect for some crostini. I love any type of bruschetta and caprese toast. These are perfect for a little appetizer-or snack. The pear preserves adds the perfect amount of sweetness to it.

Peel your pearl onions and slice in half. Place halved pearl onions in a skillet with a touch of olive oil in it. Roast onions until soft. Toast your sliced baguettes in your oven on low broil until slightly browned. Top with pear preserves, cooked onions and mozzarella pearls. Place back in the oven on low broil until the cheese melts slightly. Top with arugula.
